    Crest

Your initials set as a monogram above the header. Quiet, and it reads as senior without saying so.

Why all 5 are safe to send

A resume template can break an applicant tracking system in two well-documented ways: multiple columns, which make a parser read across a line that was never meant to be read across, and text locked inside an image or a text box, which a parser cannot read at all. The catalog keeps one document order, and every character is real selectable text.

The useful part is that this is checkable rather than promised. Converting any resume to plain text, which is roughly what a parser sees, produces a byte-identical result in all 5 templates. Changing template changes what a person sees and nothing about what a machine reads. That is asserted by a test on every build, not reviewed by eye.

What no template can do is tell you how a particular employer has configured its system. Nobody outside that employer can, including us, and any tool that puts a pass-or-fail number on it is guessing.

Black ink by design

ATS documents do not borrow the product's interface colors. Names, headings, dividers, and structural details stay black so every template reads as a professional document rather than branded application UI.

Where the template stops mattering

Templates are the easiest part of a resume to shop for and the smallest part of whether it works. A clean single column with the right words on it beats a beautiful one describing the wrong job. If you only do one thing after picking a template, aim the content at the posting you are actually applying to. The tailoring guide covers how, and the resume worksheets by role show what the work looks like written down for over 800 occupations.

Building, scoring and exporting a resume in any of these templates is free, and does not ask for a card.
