Tailoring
Aim one resume at one job, in about ten minutes
Paste the posting. The tailor reads it against your main resume, shows you what actually overlaps, and rewrites only what needs rewriting. It branches a copy, so the original is never touched.
What it does
- Reads a real job description and compares it against the resume you already built.
- Shows a Match Score for that specific posting, separate from the Readiness score that grades the resume on its own.
- Rewrites bullets to use the posting’s own words where your experience genuinely covers them.
- Branches a new version rather than editing your main resume, so you keep one clean original and a copy per job.
What it will not do
It will not add experience you do not have to make a score go up. Where the posting asks for something absent from your resume, it says so and leaves the gap visible, because a gap you know about is a question you can answer in the interview.
It already knows your work
Resume tailoring reads your main resume, so it never asks you to retype your history. The resume is where you do the typing; everything downstream of it is supposed to use what is already there rather than asking you the same questions again.
