Why the shape of the price matters more than the number

Almost every tool in this category bills monthly, and monthly billing has an incentive problem it never states out loud: most of the revenue arrives in the months after the customer stopped needing the product. A job search ends. The subscription does not, unless the person remembers to end it, and forgetting is the profitable outcome. Some of the best-known names in this category are known for exactly that.

A single payment covering ninety days removes that entirely. If you find work in three weeks, we earn less and the product did its job. There is nothing to cancel, no card stored against a future date, and no renewal email. That is worse business for us in the obvious way, and it is the reason to trust the rest of what this site says.

Which of these you actually need

Most people reading a pricing page are trying to work out whether they need to be on it at all, so here is the honest routing.

Stay free if you need one strong resume. Building it, scoring it, editing it forever and exporting it are not limited in any way that will bite you, and the free tier is not a demo with the export button greyed out. If you are applying to a handful of roles, you will never reach a limit.

Take the campaign if you are running an actual search. A typical one takes 62.6 applications, 46+ hourssrc, and tailoring each of those is where the monthly allowance stops being invisible. This is the plan the product is designed around, and it is the one we expect most paying people to want.

Take Career Command if you prefer paying month to month, or if your search is likely to run past ninety days and you would rather not think about it again. It cancels whenever you like.

Take Lifetime only if you expect to come back. It is worth it for people who change jobs regularly or who want the career tools between searches, and it is a bad purchase for someone who needs one resume this month. If you have already bought a campaign and then upgrade, the remainder is credited rather than lost.

Whichever you pick, the reason to start free first is that it costs nothing to find out. More than half of people looking for work are already cutting spending on essentials while they do it (55.1%src), which is precisely the wrong moment to be guessing about a purchase.

The things you should ask before paying

What does the free account actually include?

Building, scoring and editing your resume, for as long as you want it and never counted. Your profile page and job search are free too. On top of that: 3 PDF exports, 1 cover letter, 1 mock interview, and enough Orion AI to draft a whole resume. That allowance is one-time and does not refill, and we say so before you spend it rather than after. It is not a demo with the export button greyed out: your resume is yours whether or not you ever pay.

Does anything renew by itself?

No. The $34.99 campaign is one payment for 90 days and then it stops on its own: there is nothing to cancel, and no card gets charged again because you forgot. Career Command is month to month and you end it whenever you like.

What happens on day 91?

Your account goes back to free. Nothing is deleted, nothing is locked behind a wall you cannot see past: every resume, letter and application you made stays readable and exportable. The counting simply starts again.

Why is it not a monthly subscription like everyone else?

Because a job search is not a monthly event. The median one runs about three months, and a subscription that quietly bills month four is charging you for the search you already finished. We priced it to the length of the real thing instead.

Can I get a refund?

All sales are final, and that is stated before you pay rather than discovered afterwards. The reason it is defensible: the free tier is real and has no clock on it. You can build, score and export a finished resume, write a cover letter and run a mock interview without a card, so the product can be judged properly before any money moves.
