You are about to trust a piece of software with the document that decides whether you get an interview. Here is everything, including the answers that do not flatter us.
Price and billing
- What does the $34.99 campaign actually include?
- Ninety days with nobody counting: unlimited tailored applications, unlimited cover letters, unlimited practice interviews, and Orion coaching that never hits an allowance. Every paid plan is identical, so nothing is held back for a higher tier.
- What do I actually get for free?
- More than most builders charge for. Write as many resumes as you like, see your Readiness Score and the exact line that would raise it, and take 3 PDF exports with no watermark. Your profile page and the job search are free too, and so is the interview question bank. On top of that you get 1 cover letter, 1 mock interview, 1 career roadmap and enough Orion AI to draft a whole resume. No card, and no clock running on any of it. Those counts are one-time rather than monthly, whatever you download stays yours, and a plan simply stops the counting.
- Does it auto-renew?
- Two of the three never do. The Campaign is one payment and on day 91 access simply ends, with no subscription to hunt down. Lifetime is one payment, forever. Career Command is the exception and it is a real subscription: $14.99 charged every month until you cancel. We email you before each charge so it is never a surprise, cancelling is one click in your billing settings, and you keep the days you already paid for.
- What happens to my resumes when the 90 days end?
- They stay yours. Your account turns read-only, so you can still open, read, and export everything you built. Nothing is deleted and nothing is held hostage. Start another campaign, or take the Lifetime plan, and editing switches back on exactly where you left it.
- Do I have to pay before I can see anything?
- No. Building a resume and scoring it are free and uncounted, exporting is free up to 3 PDFs, and publishing your profile page is free. The price is on the screen long before you reach it, and there is no surprise paywall halfway through a build.
- What if it is not for me?
- Find out before you pay, not after. The free tier is a real one with no clock on it, so you can build a finished resume, export it, write a cover letter and run a mock interview without a card. Because you can try the product properly first, all sales are final once you buy. If you are on Career Command, the monthly plan, you can pause or cancel it in one click before the next charge and we email you before every one. The terms are on the legal page, in plain language, not buried in a clause.
Honesty and the score
- Is the Readiness Score an ATS score?
- No, and treat any tool that claims otherwise with suspicion. Nobody outside an employer can see how their applicant tracking system ranks you. Our score measures six things we genuinely can measure: impact, structure, skills, evidence, writing, and clarity. The weights are printed right on the page, and the calculation is deterministic, so the same resume always scores the same.
- Will the AI invent things about me?
- No. Orion proposes wording and you approve every fact it touches. It will not manufacture an employer, a degree, a date, or a metric you never gave it. When a bullet needs a number to land, it asks you for the number instead of inventing one.
- What does an ATS-safe resume actually get me?
- Your resume has one job: get you into the room. So we build it to parse cleanly in the software employers screen with, read as impact instead of duty-filler, and line up with the specific role you are chasing. That is what puts you in front of a human. Be wary of any tool that puts a percentage on your odds, because none of them can see inside an employer’s hiring system.
- Is a perfect 100 actually reachable?
- Yes. A complete, quantified, well-structured resume aimed at a real occupation reaches 100. The score is not tuned to keep you a few points short so you keep paying us.
- Are those competitor prices fair?
- They are approximate 90-day totals taken from public list prices in July 2026, for plans that bill in recurring four-week or monthly cycles. Prices move. We would rather you check theirs and ours than take our chart on faith.
Your data
- Do you sell my resume data?
- Never. Not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not to recruiters. It is not a business we are in, and it is not a line we would trade for revenue.
- Who can see what I write?
- Only you, unless you choose to publish a profile page. Profile pages are public because that is their job, you decide when one goes live, and you can unpublish it at any time.
Using it
- Will it work for my field?
- Very likely. The search runs against 1,026 real occupations, and the sections adapt to what you do: licences and clinical rotations for nursing, certifications and licensure for teaching, projects and repositories for engineering, quota attainment for sales.
- I have never written a resume. Is this going to be over my head?
- No. Every input is guided: a prompt that tells you what belongs there, real keywords for your role, and example lines you can work from. You are never handed an empty box and wished luck.
- What file do I get at the end?
- A PDF that matches the preview exactly, in your choice of five themes, every one of them ATS-safe. They differ in how they look, never in how they parse: each is a single reading column, so the text comes out in the same order whichever you pick. PDF only, deliberately. A Word file reflows in whatever version of Word opens it, which is how a clean layout turns into a mangled one on someone else’s screen.
