A page you can send, built from what you already wrote
A resume is a document you attach. A portfolio is a link you send. This builds one from the work already in your resume, at a public URL you control, with no design work and nothing to host.
What it does
- Generates a public page from the experience, skills and projects already in your resume.
- Picks a layout based on what leads: the work, the writing, the projects or the record.
- Gives you a URL you can put in a bio, an email signature or an application.
- Stays yours: nothing is published until you say so, and you can unpublish it.
What it will not do
It will not invent projects, testimonials or metrics to fill a thin page. If the page looks sparse, the honest fix is more real work on it, not generated filler that falls apart the moment someone asks about it.
It already knows your work
Career portfolio reads your resume, so there is nothing new to write. The resume is where you do the typing; everything downstream of it is supposed to use what is already there rather than asking you the same questions again.
