The price on a resume builder is only half the decision. The other half is what happens next: whether a trial converts, whether a quarterly plan renews, and whether downloading the document requires payment.

How we compared them
- Use the closest publicly listed individual plan for an active job search.
- Keep billing periods in the seller’s own units instead of disguising them as monthly equivalents.
- State auto-renewal separately from the displayed price.
- Show free access only when the vendor’s own page describes it.
Four weeks creates thirteen charges in a year
A bill every four weeks arrives 13 times across 52 weeks. That cadence may be clearly disclosed and still be easy to misread as monthly. Compare the exact interval, not the visual size of the number.
A ninety-day product and a ninety-day subscription are different
SpartanResume’s The Campaign ends after 90 days and does not renew. The public Teal and Jobscan quarterly prices are subscriptions that renew unless canceled. Neither structure is automatically right for everyone; the distinction matters when you estimate the total cost.
Use the free level to test the actual export
Before paying, create a realistic resume, download the format you need, copy its text into a plain-text editor, and check the reading order. A long feature list cannot tell you whether the document feels usable or whether the free plan stops at the final click.
